Palm Beach Dressage Derby
Get the Daily Derby Dish Right Here Saavedra and Jaccoma win the Sho Clothes Jog at the 2007 Palm Beach Dressage Derby Saavedra and Jaccoma each won a $100 gift certificate to Sho Clothes for the win. Saavedra’s crisp military turnout and immaculately groomed mount thoroughly impressed the judges. Saavadre works for the American Embacy in Equador, and is in south Florida working in qualifying for the Pan American Games. Jaccoma won the lady’s turnout with an equally well-groomed mount and a stylish outfit that judges deemed “both fashionable and suitable” for the jog. Clothes, Wellington’s dressage boutique sponsored the jog presentation
at the Palm Beach Derby held last weekend. Sho Clothes judges, John
Zopatti and Karen McKean had a difficult job, as the jog ran for several
hours and all off the participants seemed to put extra effort into their
turnout. In the end the prevailing winners were Francisco Saavedra for
the men’s turnout and Susan Jacoma for the lady’s turnout.
