- The Equine Herpes Virus Appears to Have Traveled to Wellington
and California
The
Palm Beach Post reported Thursday, Dec 14, 2006, that one horse suffering
from neurological disorders was euthanized Sunday. While tests are
being done to determine whether the horse had the highly contagious
EAV virus, veterinarians and state officials are stating that it is
“highly probable” the virus has traveled to Florida and
California, from infected horses coming from a New York source. Read
