Jan Brink Symposium at the University of Florida, March 10-12, 2006

Arredondo Dressage Society is proud and excited to announce that we are hosting the Jan Brink Symposium at the University of Florida’s Horse Teaching Unit on March 10-12, 2006.

If you are interested in dressage and would like to learn from a master how to train a horse from the beginning to Grand Prix the classical way, here is an excellent opportunity.

The Swedish Jan Brink is a student and practitioner of the art of classical dressage and has achieved a great amount of success on the international scene. He is the winner of the Aachen Dressage Championships in 2005. He won individual and team bronze at the 2005 European Dressage Championships Individual silver at the 2003 European Dressage Championships and has been four-time Swedish Dressage Champion. Brink is currently ranked 2nd in the world and his horse Briar is #1.

The symposium will be held at the University of Florida’s Horse Teaching Unit, which provides an indoor arena with comfortable seating, a classroom, attached stalls, and other amenities. Arredondo Dressage Society is happy to provide the opportunity to learn from one of the top international dressage riders today.

Tentative Program:

Dinner and Lecture Friday 3/10
at 7:00 pm at the Horse Teaching Unit at UF. Mr. Brink will talk about his training techniques from beginning to Grand Prix.

Saturday 3/11
we will start at 8:00 am. Two riders at each level, Training through fourth
level with an hour lunch. There will be a few minutes of Q&A between each ride if time allows.

Sunday 3/12
we will start at 8:00 am. Two riders at each level, Prix St. Georges through
Grand Prix with an hours lunch. There will be a few minutes of Q&A between each ride if time allows.

$35 in sponsorship provides a business-card sized advertisement in the Symposium booklet, which will contain biographies of the riders and their horses, and information regarding the symposium, and local businesses.

The Bronze sponsorship provides a ¼ page advertisement in the Symposium booklet, space to hang your business/company banner, announcements during the duration of the symposium, and one auditor ticket – valued at $50.

“SILVER” Sponsor - $200.00
The Silver sponsorship gives you a ½ page advertisement in the Symposium booklet, space for hanging the business/company banner, frequent announcements during the duration of the symposium, and one auditor ticket – valued at $50.

“GOLD” Sponsor - $250 – and above
Gold sponsorship gives you the ultimate in exposure for your business! A Gold sponsor has 1 full page advertisement in the Symposium booklet, space for hanging the business/company banner (closest to the auditing seating), frequent announcements during the duration of the symposium, and two auditor tickets, valued at $100.
