USEF Reining Championships and Selection Procedures Update

Lexington, KY − Through sponsorships to the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA), the 2008 Adequan/USEF National Open Reining Championship presented by Equine Motorcoach will have $25,000 added money. The NRHA Derby is the host competition for the USEF Reining Championships, which include the Open, USEF National CRI* Reining Championship, and the USEF National Youth Reining Championships. The Derby will showcase the nation’s best reiners at the State Fair Arena in Oklahoma City, OK June 23-28, 2008.

The Adequan/USEF National Open Reining Championship will also serve as the selection trial for the U.S. reiners for the 2008 FEI World Reining Championship. The Selection Procedures for the 2008 FEI World Reining Championship are now available. Reining Riders interested in competing on the U.S. team in Manerbio, Italy in September need to contact Courtney Barnett, USEF Director of Reining.
