Silke Rembacz

A Balanced Life

The rose garden and birds balance a life full of work, travel, competition, and running a successful sales, training and show barn at both Sheila Buckbinder's Hope Acres Farm in Stockton, New Jersey, and at her winter Florida Wellington location within hacking distance to the show grounds.

Rembacz first came to the United States in 1986 as an exchange student working for Disney World, in Florida. Though she had intended to study industrial geology, her interest in horses prevailed. After 13 years, exploring the country and working hard, Silke Rembacz became a United States citizen in 1999.

That same year she qualified and competed in the USET Intermediare Championships, for Susan Decker Bibbo with The Summit winning the Prix St George, and placing second in the Intermediaire I.
